A unimaginable performance by the OpTic Gaming CS:GO group has brought about their first head competition win.

Going up against the Danish squad of Astralis, the E-League Season 2 grand finals had $640,000 hanging in the balance, with the triumphant group leaving with $400,000 in Atlanta.

The North American’s of OpTic have had blended performances before the E-League playoffs and when they battled on Train (16-9) in the first map, it seemed as though it would be Astralis lifting the trophy.

Going into the second map of Cobblestone, OpTic looked restored, winning easily to take it to the map decider on Overpass. They took the momentum and brought it onto Overpass, taking an instructing lead before completing it 16-11 to take the trophy.
