If you want to warm up as quick as possible before exercising, you have to do that the right way.
A great number fitness coaches, athletes, even doctors recommend warming up before working out. Regarding that, warming up doesn’t include stretching. You should do that exclusively after running or training.
Shawn Arent from the department of Kinesioly and Health, recommends to finish every exercise with a stretch. But if you practice the same thing during the warming, it can dangerous.
Why is that?
-If you stretch an unwarmed muscle, it would be same like taking out a band from a freezer and stretching it… the elastic will certainly burst – explains Shawn Arent.
It’s much better to do an easy warm up before exercising. This can involve exercise for the arms and legs, or some light running.
This will warm up your muscles and get you ready to work out. After the training, when you are already stirred up, you can stretch and enjoy the feeling.
