Two intertwined concrete volumes with round edges, are creating this spectacular “Crossed House” in Spain. It’s a grandiose object with a quiet, unobtrusive architecture, which further impresses with a relaxing pool in the yard. All of this combined allows their owners to enjoy this unique house and the landscape.
The modern facility is designed by the architectural studio “Clavel Arquitectos”.
The Architect plays with the structure of the house and their two geometric shapes, rotating them 35 degrees. The two parts are facing different angles, offering a different perspective and experience. The lower part has more privacy and intimacy facing the garden and the pool. On the other hand the upper level is open to the city and enjoys the view of the external environment. Each part receives enough solar energy for warming on the colder days and natural lightning of the interior.
The way this house is build with the rotated levels, it reminds us of a grandiose artistic sculpture. In addition it functions as a modern, comfortable and relaxing home.
