Lifebuoy soap manufacturer on a ‘very unusual way decided to show people how their stuff are actually dirty.
The goal was to show people how bacteria from various objects stick to their subjects, and the end of the day the billboard could be seen with bacteria colonies. People this way had the opportunity to see the amount of bacteria and fungi that are invisible to domestic appliances, smart phones, wallets and joysticks.
Lifebuoy for the campaign hired a team of microbiologists, but it is unclear whether the company differed harmful bacteria and microorganisms from those which may be beneficial to health. Such billboards now can only be seen in market centers in South America, and the company in the coming years plans to set up more of this billboards worldwide.
